I no longer offer Apple Macbook Battery Replacement
I have made a decision as of 08-21-2024 to no longer provide the service of replacing Batteries in Apple Macbook’s, any model - I know this will be an inconvenience to some, however, earlier today, (and this is the second time this has occurred with a Macbook Laptop that has required a replacement battery - especially if the battery has started to bulge and/or no longer holds a charge) One of the battery cells burst and caught fire. Apple uses an adhesive to mount the batteries in place which requires special tools and solvents to pry the batteries out of the systems. I have removed a large number of these batteries without issue over the years but last year and now today, I had a battery cell explode and catch fire. These are lithium batteries and they swell from heat generated mostly due to leaving the power adapter applied to the system for extended periods of time without using the systems on “battery power only” to exercise the battery or, due to over exposure to heat of any source (like leaving the system powered on in a car, in a laptop bag, in the Florida Sun…) - this is not a good practice. Laptops of any make or model are all susceptible to this that use lithium batteries, not just Apple Laptops. However, Apple Ingenuity/Engineering decided it would be a great idea to use an adhesive to contain the lithium battery to the case of the system so it stays secure in the system… (screws are used in almost every other brand of system and it retains the battery, in place without having this type of hazard) Today was the last time for me. Luckily I was able to toss the system out of my work area in time to let it burn out the cell that burst - unfortunately it took out the whole system with it. My inhalation of some of the hazardous gas and smoke was little to none because I have experience with this - but, I can no longer take the risk or liability as a small business proprietor. I will be happy to continue to service Apple systems but I will no longer replace their batteries. There is a local “Apple Dealership” that will be happy to help in this regard.

Disclaimer:
I am not affiliated with or am I an authorized dealer or support representative of any brand of system.
I only service out of warranty systems that require parts replacement (Display replacement, Systemboard replacement, HDD/SSD, RAM, Plastics)Systems that are under Warranty/New, I offer Setup and Data Transfer from Old system to new system. All new system parts replacement should be done VIA the Warranty that covers your new system. Unless it is not covered under the warranty (example: You have a liquid spill and you don't have Accidental damage coverage - Then I'll be happy to work on your "in warranty" system)
I am not Responsible and/or Liable for lost data (Pictures/Documents/Music/Video's - Any form of Data and/or software, on systems of any type) - If possible, prior to having me look at and diagnose and possibly repair any issue with system(s), the owner of said system should have an external backup or cloud based backup for recovery purposes should any system components need to be replaced/reformatted or other operation that could potentially make data recovery impossible.
Please Note: If you have Older Systems (more than 5 years old) I will be happy to diagnose the issues you may be having and determine if it is worth the time and investment in repairing or replacing parts on the system - I am VERY UPFRONT about what action(s) should be taken on Older systems - I will decline working on systems that are dated and may be costly to fix. Also, If the repair or replacement of parts may cause additional issues by placing newer components into older systems, I will decline working on the system. (You may think the system is worth fixing but in most cases, with older systems, it is better to replace the system as opposed to "Fixing" it.)
